• ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup chopped herbs (any combination of leafy fresh herbs such as parsley, basil, sage, chives, tarragon or chervil)
  • 1 garlic clove, mined
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • A pinch of cayenne pepper

Stir all ingredients together. Serve as you would regular butter on steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, on sandwiches or to season meat.
