  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 large bunch of cilantro, stems removed
  • ½ cup basil leaves
  • ¼ cup mint leaves
  • 2 small garlic cloves
  • ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Grated zest and juice of one lime
  • Salt to taste

Combine the first 5 ingredients together. Add oil and lime juice and zest. Season with salt and use as a dip, a marinade, or a condiment for tacos, eggs or steamed vegetables.
